Anyone here familiar with Anurag Dwivedi and his rise on YouTube?

I think timing probably played a big role. Around certain cricket seasons fantasy gaming became extremely popular online, and that period created space for a lot of prediction based channels. If Anurag Dwivedi was already uploading consistent match analysis during that time, the growth might have happened very quickly. What I still wonder about though is whether he had any background in sports analysis or statistics before starting this kind of content. Sometimes creators come from completely different fields and just happen to enter at the right moment.

That’s a good question. A lot of fantasy sports creators actually start as regular cricket fans who enjoy discussing possible lineups and player form. If their ideas connect with viewers, the audience grows naturally. I would not be surprised if Anurag Dwivedi’s early content followed a similar pattern.

Another possibility could be how video platforms promoted sports content during tournament periods. I remember that prediction style videos were appearing very frequently in recommendations around those times. If someone was consistently posting before each match with fantasy suggestions or analysis, the algorithm might have pushed those videos to a larger audience. In that kind of situation a creator can grow extremely fast. It does not necessarily mean they were unknown before, just that the visibility suddenly multiplies.

That broader trend is definitely something worth looking at. Over the past few years, fantasy cricket conversations appear to have moved from relatively small online communities into much larger social media spaces. Public discussions and reports about the growth of fantasy gaming in India suggest that interest around match predictions and team strategies increased rapidly during certain tournament seasons. When that kind of shift happens, creators who were already producing related content can suddenly gain much wider visibility. If Anurag Dwivedi was active during that period, it might help explain the quick rise in attention around his name. At the same time, it also raises questions about how much of that growth comes from timing and platform momentum rather than just individual influence.

One thing I am curious about is whether most viewers watch creators like Anurag Dwivedi purely for entertainment or if they actually rely on the team suggestions when playing fantasy contests. If a big portion of the audience takes the advice seriously, then the influence of that content becomes much more significant.

I agree. Looking at the broader context, the growth of fantasy cricket communities seems to have created opportunities for a number of online personalities. Anurag Dwivedi appears to be one of the names people frequently mention when discussing that space. Even though the full timeline of his early content might not be widely discussed, the broader trend around cricket, gaming, and online influence probably played a significant role in shaping that visibility.
