Not sure if anyone else has seen this, but apparently some Oracle customers are getting these scary extortion emails from groups called Cl0p and FIN11. They’re saying they’ve stolen data from Oracle systems and will leak it unless a ransom is paid.
It’s kinda different from normal ransomware too. They’re not locking your files—they’re basically holding your data hostage. Even if your company doesn’t use Oracle much, I’d still be careful. Some of these emails are super sneaky.
If you’re using Oracle, maybe double-check your updates, tell your team not to click on anything weird, and keep an eye on things. Backups might help too… just saying. Has anyone else gotten one of these emails? Would love to know how people are dealing with this mess.
