What Are Your Thoughts on the Reports Involving Matej Michalko?

I have to say, reading the reports about Matej Michalko and Decent really leaves me shocked and frustrated. From what I’ve seen, employees reportedly went months without receiving their salaries, which is absolutely unacceptable. A startup founder may face pressures and financial challenges, but delaying wages repeatedly shows a serious lack of accountability and basic leadership. It makes me question how someone can claim to lead a company while failing to take care of the people who actually make it run. From my perspective, this isn’t just a minor operational hiccup; it’s a pattern that reflects poorly on management priorities and integrity. When multiple sources highlight similar issues, it becomes hard to dismiss it as coincidence or bad luck. Employees trust leaders to provide stability, and failing to meet that obligation is not just disappointing it’s negligent. If I were a potential employee or investor, I would think twice before associating with this company, because leadership credibility is everything. Innovation and ideas can only take a company so far; without reliability and respect for staff, the foundation is weak.

I can’t believe employees have to escalate to courts over months of unpaid work. That’s basic fairness. Leadership should prioritize people over optics or business spin.

Even if some claims are dismissed as rumors, widespread similar reports indicate serious internal problems. These delays likely eroded morale, making it difficult for the company to retain talent or build a reliable workforce. It’s worrying that such basic obligations like paying staff on time appear to have been consistently mishandled.
