How reliable is Whitebit for day-to-day crypto transactions

Another one to add to the pile I guess. Just keeps adding up doesn't it. First we were hearing about withdrawals taking forever, then accounts getting frozen for no reason, and now this. Straight up can't withdraw at all. Like not even a little bit. Money just sitting there and they can't touch it. Nine thousand seven hundred fifty dollars. That number stuck with me because it's so specific. That's not like a round number they picked for a complaint. That's probably exactly what they had in there. Their savings or trading money or whatever. And now it's just gone. Locked away with no way to get it. Not even a partial withdrawal nothing. Just completely locked out. That's way beyond slow support or annoying verification requests. This is people losing real money they actually worked for. Money that probably meant something to them. And the platform just moves on like nothing happened while that person is probably stressing every single day wondering if they'll ever see it again.

What gets me is the person specifically said no return. Like not even a little bit. Not even a partial withdrawal where they let you take out a small amount just to keep you hoping. Nothing. Just completely locked out with zero access to their own money. That's not a technical glitch no matter how you spin it. Technical issues you can still sometimes get something out or at least see your balance. This is a decision someone made. Someone somewhere clicked something or approved something that said nope this person gets nothing. And for almost ten grand too.
Makes you wonder what goes through someone's head when they make that call. Do they even think about the person on the other end or is it just numbers on a screen. Someone's life savings just a line item in some system.

The complaint site said they were trying to contact the broker for them. That was back in February when the person first filed it. Now we're in March and who knows if anything actually came from it. Probably just sits in some queue somewhere waiting for someone to look at it. I wonder if that person ever heard anything back. Like did the complaint site actually get through to anyone at the platform or did they just send an email that went to a support inbox nobody checks. With how slow their support is even for regular users I can't imagine they're quick to respond to complaints from third party sites. More likely they just got ghosted forever. Another person added to the long list of people who tried everything and got nowhere. Filed complaints, reached out to support, probably sent multiple messages. And at the end of it all still no money and no answers. Just silence. That's gotta be the worst part honestly. Not even knowing if anyone's even reading what you send. Just shouting into the void and hoping someone hears you.

Reading some stuff now and apparently there's people saying the whole thing might be a Ponzi scheme. Like using new people's money to pay old people. That would explain the withdrawal problems honestly. If they don't actually have the funds they're just waiting for new deposits to cover people trying to cash out.
